An adult mom and daughter are sharing a roof for the first time in decades.
Pamela Menichelli and her mother Julia moved into a senior living community in Rochester, N.Y., living together for the first time in 50 years, according to NBC affiliate WHEC and ABC station WHAM-TV.
The pair moved to Legacy at Clover Blossom so they could live closer to Pamela’s kids and grandchildren, according to WHEC.
In a joint interview with the outlet, Pamela and Julia— who both sported glasses and twinning hairstyles — said they love their new living arrangement.
“I’m so happy that I could be with my daughter here and every day, every minute,” Julia told the outlet.
“I am so lucky to have my mom,” Pamela told WHAM-TV. “I mean, all my friends my age don’t have their mom, and I have my mom. For 67 years, it’s great, it’s awesome.”

In their own social media post, the retirement community lovingly referred to the pair as “local celebrities.”
“They were featured all over the news…and we couldn’t be more excited!” they added. “Be sure to check it out and help us celebrate these amazing stars!”
